Our Story

I grew up watching reruns of the original Star Trek.  I remember sitting on the living room floor enjoying every minute.  Then came Star Trek:  The Next Generation.  This was NEW and FRESH.  This was MY TREK!  It's still my favorite.  

Late to the game, I finally discovered Star Trek audio dramas.  I have thoroughly enjoyed both Outpost and Starship Excelsior, to name two.  As they stopped producing episodes as frequently, I hungered for more.  Then it occurred to me that I could make my own!  Why not?  I had stories and was creative.  I had some technical skills.  So I did it!  VSF Blessings was born!

Now, my family is not into Star Trek like I am.  Getting them to listen to me ramble on about my ideas for this series is next to impossible.  My 11-year-old son would only listen if he could be in the show credits.  Deal!  Now I make him listen to each episode to "earn his cred."  It works for me.  Plus, he has some good ideas and questions sometimes.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the show half as much as I enjoy creating it.  Currently, all shows are recorded on the planet earth.  Perhaps one day, when we actually have a budget, we can record on location.  :-)
